Meet Your Host Brian Mark

The most important part of my life is my family. My wife Johanna of 18 years, and two amazing children, my 14-year-old daughter Lola and 12-year-old son Aksel. We live in Arlington, WA where we have a chocolate lab named Arthur, a Malchi named Dot, and ninety plus chickens with various names and personalities. I have over 20 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, including change management design and implementation, project management, business process analysis, and people management. I’ve also had the opportunity to sponsor and lead enterprise efforts, in the technical and non-technical spaces. My credentials include a certification from industry-recognized Prosci Change Management and have my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of Washington-Tacoma. I’ve completed additional educational experience in the space of leadership and organizational development through the completion of my Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. In addition to larger scale efforts, I have extensive experience in small scale efforts through the provision of all levels of coaching and training, including teams, supervisors, managers, and executive management. From a personal people leadership standpoint, I’ve led teams as small as five to over eighty through all levels of continuous change. At my core, I believe that organizational development and intentional organizational design are foundational to any successful effort and that coaching helps set the stage for trust, respect, and healthy decision-making.
